Twisted Raw Clapsticks
Clapsticks – which in some regions are called bilma or bimla – are a traditional percussive instrument used by men and women in all Indigenous Australian communities, usually to maintain rhythmn during vocal chants. How are clapsticks played?
Clap sticks are a percussion instrument. When the two sticks are tapped together they make a sound. They can come in many sizes and both males and females may use them. They are often played together with the digeridoo.
