There are eight sets of different stories. The child is required to sort and explain each card of a set then arrange in proper sequence and narrate the story in his/her own words.
Yoga is one form of practice which includes breath control and specific body postures (asanas), that provides a range of physical, spiritual and mental relaxation. It teaches children to be calm, while gaining awareness of the bodies, self control and discipline. Like adults, children have to deal with their own stress in life. Moving house, starting a new school, preparing for a new sibling – these are all stressful events that affect children. Children need a way to manage stress and anxiety and one form of practice is teaching children yoga.

There are twelve appliqued cushions comprising six pairs of Aboriginal Symbols…clap sticks, Woman Sitting , Boomerangs, Didgridoo, Meeting Place and Man Sitting. A wonderful indigenous educational resource to help children with memory skills and concentration, whilst also teaching and appreciating different indigenous symbols.
Neatly presented in a drawstring bag approx. 25cms by 19cms.
Each soft “cushion” measures approx. 8cms by 8cms.
